Stephen Ray was recently given praise by the Thompson Turner Construction team for his continued workmanship, detailed communicator, as well as his ongoing commitment to workplace safety on the jobsite.

Coming into the construction world out of high school, Stephen has been providing his knowledge & skillset to build commercial facilities around South Carolina of the likes of; Segra Park Stadium, University of South Carolina, Walmart(s), Pee Dee Electric just to name a few of his past endeavors.

Born and bred here in South Carolina, Stephen followed his fathers footsteps in working in the HVAC ductwork trade. Quickly learning from some of the best in the business, he quickly showcased his skills in the field as well as being a strong team lead. Stephen continues to lead from the front as a foreman in providing our customers with expert installation for commercial facilities HVAC ductwork projects.

“You’re always gonna have a new day. Every day I have challenges that I have to oversee with my team & get ahead of. You’ll never going to run a simple straight piece of duct in our world… this is where the big boys play.”

Stephen came onboard the W.B. Guimarin team after hearing about what our team has to offer from a current team member.

“I was told that this crew was more attentive and supporting to the guys out in the field. They are truly a hands-on type crew that supports me. (WBG) provides a career path that I can grow as a team member & climb up within the organization. If you have the drive to succeed, they will back you up every step of the way.”

W.B. Guimarin celebrates Stephen for his recent acknowledgement from the Thompson Turner Team, along with being committed to helping his crew and his adherence to safety in todays construction workplace.
