Guimarin & Co. is proud to announce our participation in two upcoming “High School 2 Hired” events…one at Pelion High School and another hosted by the Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA). These events are an incredible opportunity to connect directly with high school students who are exploring career options here in South Carolina.

At W.B. Guimarin, we are excited to share what a rewarding, hands-on career in the skilled trades can look like. From construction plumbing and piping to HVAC service and sheet metal ductwork, there are many ways for students to step into a career with growth potential, stability, and purpose. These events are all about showing students that their future is wide open—and that it can start right here, right after graduation.

WBG is passionate about investing in the future of South Carolina’s workforce. That’s why we offer a comprehensive Apprenticeship Program designed to give young professionals the tools, skillset, and training they need to succeed to start their career out right.

W.B. Guimarin’s Apprenticeship Program provides real-world, hands-on learning guided by experienced foreman mentors in the skilled trades of:

• HVAC Service & Projects

• Construction Plumbing & Piping

• Sheet Metal & Ductwork

Whether it’s learning how to install plumbing systems, fabricate ductwork, or service commercial HVAC equipment, our apprentices gain valuable skills in environments that reflect actual jobsite conditions. From reading blueprints and handling specialized tools to working safely and efficiently as part of a team, our program builds a strong foundation for a long-term career.

Careers That Starts Now

This program is ideal for those who want to hit the ground running. Apprentices are not only trained in technical skills, but also in the behaviors and expectations that make for a successful professional, such as communication, adaptability, and teamwork. Participants are encouraged to set career goals, take part in ongoing training, and take charge of their growth, all while earning a paycheck and avoiding student debt.
