Shawn Wood, PE

Vice President, Sales and Engineering

Upon graduating from Georgia Institute of Technology, Mr. Wood joined Carrier Corporation as a Sales Engineer in Atlanta where he also became a member of ASHRAE.  His territory was primarily the rural areas of Georgia where he successfully focused on providing engineered HVAC solutions to large industrial and institutional customers.

In 1995, Mr. Wood came to work for W.B. Guimarin & Company, Inc. as a Sales Engineer and relocated his family to Columbia.  He is a past President of the South Carolina Chapter of ASHRAE. His responsibilities include pursuing design/build business with owners and general contractors including equipment surveys, energy analysis, engineered services, turnkey project installation, and project management.  Currently as Vice President of Sales and Engineering, Mr. Wood leads the Direct for Owner/Design Build Division at W.B. Guimarin.
