The Challenge

For the construction of this 520k square foot speculative warehouse, Miller Valentine needed an experienced and versed mechanical contractor that could deliver an effective solution for the facilities mechanical needs, maintain the construction schedule, as well as being able to prepare the facility in other areas once a tenant was secured for the space. Having a compressed timeline, and multiple trades teams working harmoniously, efficient coordination was necessary for the projects success.

The Solution

Working along with the general contractor, Miller Valentine, WBG’s Design/Build Team installed the buildings initial mechanical infrastructure that included the gas fired make up air units, ventilation fans, and the associated louvers to provide adequate ventilation and heating for the space. In 1 months time, WBG’s Team completed in delivering our mechanical solution for the space. Shortly after a tenant was confirmed, our team returned to complete the administration office upfit, expanding the needed mechanical systems to meet the new tenants needs. From the initial construction for the facility to needed tenant improvements, our Design/Build Team provided the necessary mechanical solutions for this space from when it was an empty shell to a fully functional facility.

  • “Here at WBG, we have a values-based safety culture—one that connects workplace safety to the real human impact accidents have on families, coworkers, and communities. This approach has proved powerful because it moves safety beyond rules and compliance and makes it personal and meaningful.  Don’t be selfish, be safe.”
