The Midlands Housing Alliance was formed by a coalition of local business, government, non-profit, and faith-based organizations to respond to the unattended problem of homeless men and women in our community.  The primary goal of the MHA's Transitions, on the corner of Main and Elmwood in downtown Columbia, is to move people from homelessness to permanent housing.

W. B. Guimarin performed the HVAC scope of work for the new facilities which will provide:

• A Day Center that engages people on the street by meeting basic needs such as showers, laundry, meals, mail, and clothing

• 52 Emergency Beds

• 26 Respite Beds

• 72 Program Entry Beds

• 64 Transitional Housing Units
